xx The Truth About Santa
« Thread started on: Dec 5th, 2012, 01:17am »

(I was watching Rudolf when I realized there were so many variations about Santa Claus and so many theories on how he does his thing without the world knowing for sure that he exists. I suddenly thought of my own thing.)

You all know the story of Santa Claus. He lives in the north pole, his elves make the presents, and every year on Christmas Eve he flies out on his sleigh with the help of his flying reindeer to deliver the presents to the kids of the world.

But in truth, there is no toy factory in the North Pole. There are no such things as elves, and they don't make the presents. He doesn't deliver the presents in one night, nor does he have a flying sleigh or flying reindeer. There was no Santa that flew around bringing joy to the world. Santa Claus isn't even alive.

He is, however, dead, and now roaming the Earth as a ghost. Nobody can see him, nor does he even have a true form. He is merely the idea of gift-giving, and everyday throughout the year he passes through billions of people, giving them the idea to give gifts to others, whether it be on their birthday, Hanukkah, Christmas, or just because they really want something.

Santa Claus was dead. But the spirit of gift-giving still lives on in the world.

(...This sounded a lot better in my head than when I wrote it down. It also turned out differently than I had originally thought...)

Canada: I guess...

The was originally meant to be a more ghost-thing as a plausable explanation for Santa Claus, but turned into something very symbolic...

Tsuki: It may even be the mediums who spread the stories of Santa.

*shrugs* I'm tired.
